Schunk young talent in front of the camera

Apprentices, dual students and global graduates present their professions.

36 Schunk "models" stood in front of the camera to give an impression of their apprenticeship or dual study program.

Whether in Heuchelheim or Balingen, in the central lab or in the business lounge: our young talent makes a very good impression.

You will soon be able to see this for yourself on Schunk's new careers page and in social media. Because new professional pictures were urgently needed for these channels. 36 Schunk "models" stood in front of the camera for the big photo shoot - from budding chefs to electrical engineering students.

From model to brand ambassador

The goal? "Schunk wants to present itself as an attractive employer in order to arouse young people's interest in an apprenticeship or dual study program," explains Laura Weidmann, vocational training officer at Schunk. "The best way to do that is to present the entire range of training opportunities and show the likeable people who work for us. This makes them brand ambassadors for Schunk."

A total of 17 apprenticeships and 12 dual study programs were photographed at the Heuchelheim, Wettenberg, Reiskirchen and Balingen sites. A great deal of organizational effort, but this was quickly made up for by the commitment of the photo models.

A big praise and thank you

"A big praise and thank you, to all who participated so willingly and supported with great motif ideas," said Weidmann. "We often needed spontaneous background extras. Again, there were always volunteers who quickly jumped in," added Dominique Ortmann, who organized the shoot from the marketing side. "On top of that, the individual departments did a great job preparing the photo locations and provided lots of useful tips."
