As I write this update, we’ve just concluded a full service meeting at the stunning grounds of The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield. This gathering was a significant milestone, bringing together our engineers and field sales team from across the UK. It provided a fantastic opportunity to share company updates, showcase our new headquarters, and foster a sense of unity among our team.
Reflecting on Q2, I am immensely proud of our team's dedication and the progress we've made on multiple fronts. Our collective efforts have been instrumental in driving forward my vision for the company. This gathering allowed our team to connect in a relaxed environment, reinforcing our shared commitment to this vision.
We also have cause for celebration, as Weiss Technik UK was recently awarded the 'No. 1 Top Sales of Stock Chambers 2023'. This accolade is a testament to the hard work of our Internal Sales Manager, Emilie Roche-Miller, and the entire team. By listening to our customers and delivering on their demand for fast deliveries with stock chambers, we've achieved an outstanding result.

In recent months, we've actively participated in key industry events, forging new connections and strengthening relationships with existing customers. At the Battery Tech Expo in April, we unveiled our new ExtremeEvent Test Chamber, designed for destructive battery tests. This innovative solution addresses the industry's need for precise and qualitative testing, and it garnered significant interest at our stand.
In May, Markus Welte, Senior Sales Manager for EMEA, joined us at the Battery Cells & Systems Expo, where he delivered a compelling talk on breakthroughs in EV and battery testing. With deep technical expertise in e-mobility testing, Markus highlighted why Weiss Technik is renowned for pushing the boundaries with cutting-edge solutions.
Looking ahead, we are excited to explore the latest advancements in battery research at the Faraday Institution Conference in Newcastle this September. We welcome our network to join us in discovering these innovations.
Building Strength In Our Community
On a local level, I am delighted to announce our new charity partner for 2024, the Forget-Me-Not Chorus. This organisation supports people living with dementia through the joy of singing. I invite our clients, partners, and friends to join us in supporting this wonderful charity, whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading awareness. Every contribution makes a difference.
In our ongoing commitment to workplace safety, Weiss Technik UK has recently installed an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) at our Loughborough office and invested in staff training. This significant step enhances the well-being of our teams and provides peace of mind.
