The automated sheet metal processing centre at the Lindenstruth site is put into operation in order to further increase productivity.

Expansion of our expertise in the field of electric mobility by acquiring shares in the Centre of Excellence for Vehicle Electronics (KFE) in Lippstadt.

Presentation of the innovative ClimeEvent climate test cabinets with the new environmentally friendly refrigerant R449A.

Merger of BDK and GWE into Weiss Pharmatechnik with headquarters in Hude, now Oldenburg.

Merger of the automotive testing specialist Imtech and Weiss Umwelttechnik into Weiss Technik, situated in Hamburg.

2012

Expansion and consolidation of the Lindenstruth site with the inauguration of the modern "Klimadrom" office building.

1995

Acquisition of the long-term competitor Vötsch, which was founded in 1929 and invented environmental simulation technology.

1979

The company is renamed to Weiss Technik GmbH.

1978

Karl Weiss KG becomes a company of the internationally successful Schunk Group based in Heuchelheim.

1964

The company moves to Reiskirchen-Lindenstruth and changes its name to Karl Weiss KG.

1956

The company Karl Weiss is founded in Giessen with the aim of developing and manufacturing physical measuring devices.
